At the age of 34, I have achieved the two things I couldn't live without, my daughter, Austyn, and my best friend, Brittany. I am
Co-Owner and President of Locked Up Productions, LLC as well as owner of ONE Outdoors Entertainment, LLC. I was first introduced to the outdoors by my father at a very young age. He owned a firewood business and spent the entire dry season in the mountains. I always remember begging him to let me join. As I grew older, the only thing I wanted to do was go hunting, so my dad, my brother, and I would head to the hills to chase deer, and that's about all we ever did. We never seemed to do too well, but those are memories I'll never forget. For years, my biggest passion had been chasing black bears. To me, there was no larger rush than standing 10-15 yards from one staring at you, but things changed about 16 years ago when I was first introduced to the thrill of goose hunting by a long time friend Dan Christie. Hearing the sounds of approaching honkers and watching the sky darken as they made their final approach definitely equals my bear hunting addiction. There's something amazing about being in the field with family and friends that most people will never understand unless you witness it firsthand. I can promise you that.

I'm 27 years old and live a very filling life, living and working on a ranch in Wyoming, co-owner of Locked Up Productions and
co-owner of Turkey Track Outfitters along with my father Pat. When I'm not guiding for Locked Up, I guide waterfowl hunts for Lewis Outdoors Adventures. I began hunting when I was very young with my dad, little brother, and my best friend, Casey Budd, who is no longer with us. I love anything to do with hunting mostly because I enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer. Goose hunting became a quick addiction to me when I saw my first goose decoy, and landed a goose just short of 10 yards from me. It then became more than just the average hobby for me. I studied goose logic, vocabulary, and flight to become a better hunter. Goose hunting helped me dramatically in life. I feel as if it goes with everything, just like in life. If you work hard, you can be successful. However, I don't know if I would ever consider myself truly successful at anything, because there is always room for improvement. I truly enjoy having the opportunity to get that first goose in close for a young hunter on their first hunt, having the bird dogs, hanging out at the blind with friends and family, the cold crisp mornings, being the first one on the road at 3:00 a.m., and of course being neck deep in cornhusks with 15 pound honkers dropping in like kids on candy. Happy Hunting.

As far back as I can remember hunting has always been a part of my life. My father, Pat, and older brother, Jared, introduced me to the vast world of hunting. Growing up I always dreamed of guiding in the great unknown, from Alaska, to anywhere my mind would take me. I wouldn't consider myself an avid waterfowl hunter, but around my work schedule, I always try to play a part in the success of Locked Up. I was a wild land firefighter for 3 summers. Now, I am 21 years old and the journeys I encountered while firefighting, and the places I have seen around the U.S, have made me greatly appreciate our outdoors. The wild will forever be wild...

Coming from Australia and a family very passionate about being in the outdoors and hunting I started hunting early in life. By ten years of age I was chasing wild hogs with my hounds. I moved to the US in 2004 and soon found my self spending all my spare time trapping, fishing and hunting birds and big game. This in turn led to me guiding big game hunters. It became apparent that hunting and being in the outdoors was not just a passion but a way of life to me. The first time I goose hunted with Jared I was hooked. I loved the thrill of having geese locked up and finishing at my feet. There are two things in life I look forward to most, spending time with my family and opening day of hunting season.

Goose hunting is my true passion in life and it all started when a good friend Jason Farnsworth, invited me on my first hunt back in the day. Thankfully, my family and the good Lord have let the passion burn on! It's not just about the shooting like many folks think either, there's so much more that comes from this sport. As a 31 year old teacher and owner of Lewis Outdoors Adventures, I love introducing kids to this rich tradition. I learned early on, this game was one that couldn't be won easily and have worked hard for it. As my wife, Teresa, says, I'm "obsessed" with ways to consistently be successful goose hunting. One of the main reasons I love the sport is the opportunity it allows for sharing the field with others. The thousands of memories of hunting with family, friends, and the youngsters have kindled the fire, and have given me the desire to be one of the best. The sport has taught me a lot about respecting nature, cherishing it's wonders, and savoring every minute while sharing it! Everyday is a success, regardless of the number of birds in the bag, since there are always enough memories to fill the limit! As I look back, these are what one really remembers.

Owner of MHF Outdoors. Waterfowl hunting has not always been a part of my life. I grew up hunting pheasants, deer and small game but quickly fell victim to the sport of waterfowling after experiencing a September teal hunt back in high school. Ever since then, I have dedicated most of my free time every fall to chasing the migration. Watching the world come to life every morning afield is something that I take refuge in and truly enjoy. The type of hunting that I most enjoy is hunting over water especially for the various kinds of diving ducks. The sight of 25 bluebills, wings locked, really gets my blood flowing. My perspective on waterfowl hunting entails me to learn as much as I can and pass that knowledge down to others along the way. It gives me great satisfaction to participate in waterfowl hunting every year and is something I hope to do for the rest of my life.

My story takes you back to Vermillion, South Dakota where I was born and raised, just one mile away from the Missouri River flyway, which is some of the best duck and goose hunting around. I started off hunting waterfowl with my dad when I was old enough to walk with him. I can still remember times to this day like it was yesterday. I got my first duck and goose call handed down to me at the age of six from my dad?s best friend, Jim. I practiced night and day along side of my dad learning everything I could about how to blow them right. That same year, my dad passed his gun to me for my first chance in taking a giant Canadian goose, and that same day, a beautiful Northern Green Head. That was the best day of my life with my father. I had many more great times with my father, but that one day stands out the most to me and I will always have that.
